A/Prof John Fuller takes on the Tour De Cure for the second time!

Our very own A/Prof John Fuller has been accepted as part of the Tour de Cure Signature ride from Newcastle to Noosa Heads. The ride will take place from 26 March 2020 to 3 April 2020. The riders will cover a distance of 1,400kms with elevations of 14,000m. This will be A/Prof Fuller's second ride with the Signature Tour group with Tour de Cure. In many ways A/Prof Fuller embodies what this great organisation stands for…from the fellow who didn’t really make time to exercise 6 years ago due to his hectic work schedule, he’s since trained when he can and has challenged himself to climb several of the hardest peaks in Europe. Macquarie Neurosurgery are proud to be supporting A/Prof Fuller’s fundraising efforts again this year. All proceeds are going to cancer research, support and prevention... another issue close to A/Prof Fuller’s heart. As a neurosurgeon A/Prof Fuller has direct contact with many patients and their journey dealing with brain tumours, both surgically and also as the neurosurgical director of the GammaKnife surgery program at Macquarie University Hospital. A/Prof Fuller values being able to support Tour de Cure and the work it does in supporting health professionals.
