Dr. Anna Lo Presti graduated from the University of Los Andes, Mérida-Venezuela with honours in 2008, and served as general physician in Venezuela until 2009. She then moved to Madrid- Spain where she completed her residency training at La Fundación Jiménez Díaz University Hospital. During this period she was granted a three month International traveling fellowship by The Joint Pediatric Neurosurgery Section of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons (AANS/CNS). She was awarded Certificate of Specialization in Neurosurgery from the Spain Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport in 2015. After completing her neurosurgical training she worked as a Junior Consultant at 4 different Hospitals of the Quirón Salud Group in Madrid-Spain (2015-2017). She is currently undertaking a Cerebrovascular fellowship through Macquarie University. Dr Lo Presti’s areas of interest are cerebrovascular surgery and pediatric surgery.
