Ravi Dadlani completed his neurosurgery training in Bangalore, India in December 2005. He has a research background in animal model reflex epilepsy which he pursued during his undergraduate years and subsequently worked as a junior research fellow at the Molecular Epilepsy Research Laboratory in Bangalore.
He has been awarded the Best Paper Award at two national conferences in India in 2002 and 2004. He has over 35 published papers in peer-reviewed indexed journals, and is himself a reviewer for several journals.
He has been an appraiser for the National Board of Examinations in New Delhi, and appraised hospitals and Institutions offering residency in Neurosurgery from 2012 to 2013.
He has worked as a consultant neurosurgeon for over 6 years at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences in Bangalore, India, which is one of the highest volume centres for elective neurosurgery in southern India.
Dr Dadlani joined us in 2012 and enrolled in the Master of Advanced Surgery in Neuro-oncology at Macquarie University under the guidance of Prof Marcus Stoodley and Dr Andrew Davidson. He graduated in 2013 and has returned back to India to work as a consultant Neurosurgeon in one of India's busiest hospitals.
