Macquarie Neurosurgery offers the following fellowship and registrar training opportunities:

Vascular Fellowship

Our Cerebrovascular Fellowship runs from February to January. If you wish to apply for the 2022 fellowship commencing in February 2022 please submit your application by Friday 30 July 2021. Interviews will be held in early August 2021.

Requirements for Fellowship application:

  • Medical degree registerable in Australia with AHPRA https://www.ahpra.gov.au

  • Updated CV and Cover Letter outlining your interest and suitability in the fellowship

  • Proficiency in the OET or IELTS English language (written, spoken and reading). Evidence must be submitted at time of application. https://www.ielts.org/

**Potential applicants please note: The English language requirements must be satisfied before you apply for a fellowship with Macquarie Neurosurgery. This includes meeting the required score of 7 or above in all components of the IELTS test https://www.ielts.org/ or a Grade B in the OET https://www.occupationalenglishtest.org/. Applicants who have not met this requirement will not be considered for a fellowship with Macquarie Neurosurgery**

General Neurosurgery/ Oncology Fellowship

Expression of interests are invited for a General Neurosurgery/ Oncology Fellowship position. This will generally be for a 12 - 18 month period. Appointments with a start time to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

General Registrar

Our General Registrar positions run from February to January. If you wish to apply for future registrar positions please submit your application by Friday 30 July 2021. Interviews will be held in early August 2021.

Requirements for general registrar application:

  • Medical degree registerable in Australia with AHPRA https://www.ahpra.gov.au

  • Updated CV and Cover Letter outlining your interest and suitability in the fellowship

  • If you are an overseas applicant, you must provide evidence of your proficiency in the OET or IELTS English language (written, spoken and reading). Evidence must be submitted at time of application. https://www.ielts.org/. This includes meeting the required score of 7 or above in all components of the IELTS test https://www.ielts.org/ or a Grade B in the OET https://www.occupationalenglishtest.org/. Applicants who have not met this requirement will not be considered for a registrar position with Macquarie Neurosurgery**
